    The Opportunity 

    In an effort to better serve our 47 million registered hourly workers and over 450,000 employer locations, Snagajob is looking for a Sales Trainer. If you’re someone who has a passion for sales methodologies, delivering compelling training and content, and supporting teams to operate at peak productivity, then this role is for you! 

    The Sales Trainer will join our People team, and will create and facilitate training to drive sales efficiency and performance.  As a Sales Trainer, you’ll leverage your own sales experience to identify training needs alongside cross-functional stakeholders, and then you’ll design and deliver programs that ultimately help reps close more deals.  You’ll have the opportunity to combine a passion for teaching, developing talent, and sales, to make an impact on our reps and our business.  This is a high-profile and critical function for Snagajob’s future growth.

    This role may be based remotely or in our Arlington or Richmond, VA, or Charleston, SC office.

    What You’ll Get to Do

    • Design and deliver sales training based on current/future needs
    • Lead training that engages the audience, transfers skills and knowledge, and supports sales goals 
    • Collaborate with leadership to assess the capability gaps across the sales team and take appropriate steps to address them 
    • Facilitate instructor-led classes and develop online modules for various audiences including new hire training (onboarding & post onboarding), new logo reps, client executives, customer support managers, and sales support  
    • Continuously evaluate and improve upon all training programs.
    • Create/curate/manage sales-facing assets and resources
    • Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to help curate the most relevant content for sales methodologies, sales skills, new products/features, new internal processes, and technology adoption 
    • Create, modify, and maintain training content and materials, including but not limited to playbooks, job aids, knowledge assessments, certification rubrics, and more 
    • Other sales enablement as needed
    • Optimize sales communication channels to ensure reps can easily find answers to their questions 
    • Support sales leadership coaching and other talent development activities to reinforce classroom learnings.  As needed work with reps 1:1 to improve areas of concern/development 
    • Support large scale projects and other enablement activities as needed 

    What You’ll Bring

    • Experience in sales training with proven results such as achieving/surpassing sales objectives, shortening sales cycles, improving knowledge base, etc. 
    • Hands-on sales experience 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to adapt to a variety of audiences
    • Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively and independently
    • Excellent project management skills with a strong attention to detail
    • Proficiency with adult learning principles and application
    • Proficiency with B2B sales technologies
