Tiera M. Craig is the Executive Director of Diversity Richmond, where she leads one of Central Virginia’s most prominent LGBTQ+ organizations in advancing community connection, advocacy, cultural engagement, and economic opportunity. Through Diversity Richmond’s four pillars—being a catalyst, a voice, a place, and a resource—Tiera works to strengthen the organization’s impact across its programs, partnerships, and social enterprises.

A U.S. Army combat veteran and accomplished organizational leader, Tiera brings extensive experience in strategic planning, workforce development, change management, fiscal stewardship, and operational transformation. Her leadership is grounded in transparency, accountability, equity, and the belief that sustainable progress is built through meaningful collaboration.

Originally from Detroit, Tiera is proud to now call Richmond home. She is committed to supporting LGBTQ+ professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders while building partnerships that help create a more inclusive and economically vibrant Richmond region.
James has a background in both corporate and non-profit communications, having held senior-level positions in global PR agencies representing large government agencies and Fortune 50 companies.
