Senior Manager, Email Marketing

    The Opportunity

    In an effort to better serve our 47 million registered hourly workers and over 450,000 employer locations, Snagajob is looking for a talented Senior Manager, Email Marketing to play a direct role in helping millions of people find hourly jobs.  This role is responsible for managing the email channel in terms of both the execution and monitoring, while developing strategies and tactics for growing return users. The Sr. Manager will have a pulse on industry trends to help drive the team’s efforts, which will have a tremendous impact on helping people find their right-fit jobs. 

    Our ideal candidate is passionate about owning the day to day management of the channel, optimizing campaign performance, and supporting the teams that rely on this channel to reach seekers. Since Snagajob serves both B2B clients and B2C job seekers, the successful candidate will be accomplished in communicating with both types of audiences. 

    This role will report to the Head of Performance Marketing, and may be based remotely or in our Arlington or Richmond, VA or Charleston, SC office. 


    What You’ll Get to Do: 

    • Monitor performance data and trends to guide the team to make decisions on optimizations and take corrective actions where needed.
    • Identify areas for growth and develop hypotheses for testing to determine how to generate ongoing growth within the channel
    • Own reporting and channel analysis including KPI, weekly channel updates, and forecasting for future months
    • Operate as a SME for segmentation to identify and reach the optimal users for each campaign
    • Partner with our B2B Growth Managers to develop user journeys for both our SMB and Enterprise leads/clients
    • Partner with our B2C growth manager to improve the user journeys for all of our workers.
    • Serve as point of contact and in-house SME for our email platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • Identify areas for process improvement and work cross-functionally to implement
    • Collaborate with product, marketing, engineering, and sales teams to deliver the best experience for members


    What You’ll Bring: 

    • Experience leading a sizeable email function (we send +100M emails per month)
    • Deep operational and technical expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, as this is our email platform for both B2B and B2C 
    • Sound quantitative abilities and problem-solving skills
    • Strong project and process management skills
    • Detail-oriented, ability to execute on email operational tasks independently
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities concurrently
    • Results-oriented with a can-do attitude and demonstrated a pattern of accountable decision making
    • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Ability to learn new tools and procedures quickly
