Jerry L. Mize, MA, MEd (He/Him) is a Resident in Counseling and National Certified Counselor (NCC) and is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. After completing his Bachelor's in Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University, he received a Master's in Applied Developmental Psychology from George Mason University and then a second Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of William & Mary. At Inner Odyssey Counseling, his focus is primarily on sex, anxiety, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ needs, however, he works with a variety of individuals and those in relationships with different struggles. This can include depression, self-esteem, gender affirmation, burnout, stress, relationship issues, men's issues, and more. Jerry is also teaching faculty for online courses at GMU in the Department of Psychology. *Jerry L.
