You can call me Dan - I'm a visual media professional raised in Arlington, VA and in Richmond after my time in Boston for college. I hold a B.S. in sociology and a M.S. in criminology and criminal justice, with specialties in white collar crime, hate crime, and gendered violence. That's all to say, my academic and professional experiences have been solely focused on studying marginalized communities and the strategies we can use to put their needs in the spotlight, while also protecting them from exploitation.
