Member Bio

Kelly’s passion for the outdoor community has taken her around the world exploring opportunities to make an impact, but she has found her home here in Richmond. She came to attend Virginia Commonwealth University and has never left!

Her involvement locally with VCU in the Outdoor Adventure Program and passion and work as a Guide on the James River led her to advocacy for the James River Outdoor Coalition and her position on the board for Virginia Green Travel Alliance.

In her spare time, she works building Green and environmentally friendly studios and homes in addition to guiding on the James River. She enjoys being outside and supporting local initiatives that uplift and bring together people in the community.
