My career has focused on communications in nonprofits, focusing on community development and well-being in higher education. I specialize in translating programmatic initiatives into impactful marketing communication strategies and tactics. I recently earned a post-bac certificate in nonprofit management from VCU's Wilder School of Public Affairs. I'm currently in the process of starting up a PR consulting business focused on the communication and marketing needs of mission driven organizations, using my communication and project management expertise to help them tell their stories more effectively. Having come out later in life as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I’m dedicated to connecting with fellow Richmond professionals and business owners through the Chamber, sharing and amplifying diverse voices. As a visual artist, I create work that celebrates queer identity, community, and experience. I collaborate with artists and creatives at all stages of their journeys through online communities. I am deeply passionate about exploring the intersections of creativity, productivity, and rest, as well as systems thinking and design thinking. My work also touches on sustainability, creative reuse, and nonbinary self-expression.
