    The Opportunity

    In an effort to better serve our 100+ million registered hourly workers and over 470,000 employer locations, Snagajob is looking for a Sales Manager to lead a team of new logo professionals and help grow our business in new accounts by offering Snagajob’s solutions to the hourly market. As a leader in our sales organization, you’ll be responsible for providing your team with the necessary tools and resources to be successful, developing strategies to increase growth with new accounts, and for selecting, training and mentoring team members. This role requires a strong leader with experience managing B2B sales representatives, excellent coaching and mentoring skills, and a passion to exceed our clients’ expectations. 

    The Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales, and may be based in our Arlington or Richmond, VA, or Charleston, SC offices.

    What You'll Get to Do

    • Lead team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed monthly/annual targets 
    • Develop sales plans and tactics for achieving bookings and revenue goals
    • Encourage and empower your team to perform to their full potential. Build a best in class consultative sales team by investing in and developing the existing team, while helping to drive top sales talent to Snagajob 
    • Support sales team in creating effective presentations and proposals and in meeting with clients 
    • Conduct regular team meetings to share team experiences, build motivation and enhance selling skills 
    • Collaborate with other sales leadership teams to ensure proper execution of joint sales opportunities 
    • Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity and bookings forecast
    • Set an example for sales team in both product knowledge and sales process
    • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions with account executives to build more effective communications, provide training, to understand development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of account executives’ performance
    • Share knowledge and experiences with cross departmental stakeholders while driving strategies that contribute to the overall success of the team
    • Align all sales performance with Snagajob’s mission, vision, and values

    What You’ll Bring

    • Proven experience in B2B sales; digital advertising sales experience or experience in SaaS-based or on-demand platforms preferred 
    • People management experience in a sales organization 
    • Quota-carrying experience as an individual contributor; proven track record of establishing and exceeding goals 
    • Exceptionally strong leadership skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • A positive can-do attitude and strong will to achieve
    • Some travel to client sites and other offices required
